WHAT IS GREEN HRM?
• Strategy used primarily to reduce the carbon footprints of each employee in the
Organization.
• Approach adopted by organizations that can be combined with the concept of
traditional CSR with the objective of attaining a long-term renewable or
sustainable approach to business practices.
• Involves incorporating environment-friendly HR policies and initiatives that could
result in greater efficiencies and better employee engagement at the same time
help organizations to reduce employee carbon footprints in the processes, job and
day-to-day functioning of the enterprise.
OBJECTIVES

To identify popular HR practices in the IT sector.

To identify the factors influencing adoption of green HR practices.

To study employee perception towards Green HR practices.


RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
I. SAMPLING AND DATA COLLECTION
• Data has been collected from employees of the IT sector.
• Population is the companies in Gurugram.
• Sample Size is 47.
• Convenience sampling is used.
II. SCALING
Likert, ordinal and nominal scaling has been used.
III. SAMPLING TECHNIQUE
Survey method used and a 36- item questionnaire was prepared to get data from the respondents.
