SUB: - Water Resources Department-CBR Right canal-Unauthorized occupation of Govt. Land along Minor-07 in Ippatla of Lingala Mandal & Brahmanapalli of Pulivendula Mandal-Objections among preceeding & Succeeding farmers along canal(minor -7) for “Way” to monuverating their agriculture/ Horticulture produces & for departmental personnel to discharge their duties –Regarding
Ref:- 1) Oral representation of villagers of Brahmanapalli of Pulivendula mandal.
2) This Office Notice No. Dt: 17-03-2020 served to individual farmers of both Ippatla & Brahmanapalli Villagers.

CBR Right Canal was designed to supply of Irrigation water to 59,400 acres aycut by means of lift schemes (23 No’s) & Gravity canals from KM 0.000 to Km 56.025 pulivendula constituency of Y.S.R Kadapa District . CBR right canal was designed to supply adequate water to grow of different kinds of agriculture /Horticulture crops in this semi arid region of pulivendula constituency of Y.S.R Kadapa District by means of lift schemes(23 No’s) & Gravity canals. For the excavation of these canals, water resources department has acquired many
acres of land in collaboration with revenue department after paying fair compensation to the land loosers on behalf of Andhra Pradesh.
As on today so many farmers has reoccupied the Govt.land and raised horticulture/agriculture crops at so many places along CBR Right canal and distributaries which becomes difficult for water regulation & inspection of canals by department officials & some sensitive disputes are arising between preceding & succeeding farmers for monuoverating operations of their agriculture/ Horticulture produces with a problem of way.
After receiving oral representation of the farmers of Brahmanapalli of pulivendula mandal , the under signed inspected the site along with AEE’s on 07-03-2020 and requested the two groups (Succeding & Preceding) for a compromising atmosphere ,but in vein. In this regard the undersigned along with staff members, Maytas agency inspected the site 0n 10-03-2020 and peg marking has been done on ground for fixation of boundaries of land acquired by the department for excavation of Minor-07 and served notices to the individual
farmers in the reference 2nd cited . During inspection on 07-03-2020 & 10-03-2020 ,it is observed that many farmers already raised crops like banana,sweet lemon,gingelly etc. as per filed inspection status & plea of farmers, this department has given a period of 30 days i.e from 17-03-2020 to 15-04-2020 in liew of a condition that no quarrels or creating problems to preceeding/Succeding farmers for monuverating operations during this period.
Though department is taking several steps keeping in view of farmers wealth,safety,law and order problems,they are behaving very aggressively with department officials also.Hence, this department is decided to evacuate all the unauthorized occupations in coordination with all line departments ( i.e Revenue department, Police department & MPDO’s).
As we are expecting threat to discharge our duties impartially or to avoid quarrels between the two groups of farmers, which will finally leads to a law and order problems, I request your extreme and endeavor support to evacuate unauthorized occupations on 15-04-2020.
