• This market study was started on 4th of June and
ended on 26th of July.

• This market research was a Descriptive research.
In this research I contacted to the officials of
different companies and distributors of industrial
chains in Delhi NCR personally. In this period I
collected the relevant data needed for complishment
of my research.

• Data size of this study is 112 which includes officials

chains in Delhi NCR.

• Distributors of Diamond chains provide 15% discount initially and further the
discount depends upon quantity of the order, customer has asked for.

• Distributors of Renold Chains provide 10% discount initially and further the
discount depends upon quantity of the order, customer has asked for.

 SUGGESTIONS

• Since the market is quite mature, it holds limited

opportunities for new entrants.
• On similar grounds, major vendors face a fierce and
profit crunching competition with local vendors for
their market share.
• Survival is totally dependent on the image of the
organisation in the market.
• Diamond chain company holds the maximum
market share in India.
• Rockman could be facing direct competition with
diamond because both these companies focuses on
quality.
• Price range is also a barrier for Rockman industries
because industrial chain market is becoming more
price sensitive then before.
 Limitations of the Study

• Lack of appointments.
• Low data size.
• Study is conducted only in Delhi NCR.
• Short timings given by the respondents to provide
informations.
• Large size of Local mfg.
