 Text of the story (for teachers)
I have a scary story for you tell.
A strange thing happened to me this night. Would you like to hear it?
I was sleeping soundly when I heard a loud noise coming down from my kitchen.
Somebody was moving my chairs, there was a sound of broken dishes and a voice like an echo… Uuuuuhh.
I had nothing to do but go there and see what it was.
As I didn’t have any weapon or knife with me,
I took the biggest and the heaviest book that I had “The Great Soviet Encyclopedia” (say any famous dictionary
in your country).
On my way to the kitchen, different thoughts occurred to me.
First, that it was… ‘a burglar”
Second, Who? (an Alien).
Then, that it was Who? A vampire
Then I thought about them. What are they? (Giant rats )
Or maybe it was a Who? (a monster)
or even ‘a ghost’
I pulled myself together and decided to turn on the light…When I did it and saw that strange creature I shouted
like crazy!
What did I see do you think?
So….be ready..it was my dog in the batman's mask.
Would you be scared like me if you saw it in the middle of the night?
