BULLYING
   Bullying is the leading concern for
boys seeking for help
-          45% of young people experience
bullying before the age of 18 .
-          36%  of young people aged 8 to
22 are worried about being bullied at
school, college or university
-          38% believe their school,
university or college doesn’t take
bullying seriously
 More than 16,000 young people are
absent from school because of
bullying
          83% of young
people say bullying has a negative
impact on their self-esteem
        
 30% of young people have gone on to
self-harm as a result of bullying
        
        10% of young people have
attempted to commit suicide as a result
of bullying
According to the consolidated report
Dep Ed, bullying cases on elementary
and high school of both private and
public schools on 2014 rose by 21%
or a total of 6,363 cases, compare
with the 5,236 on 2013.

Cases of cyberbullying have increased by


70.74% last year, the Philippine National
Police-Anti Cybercrime Group (ACG) said.
A total of 782 cases were reported to the
ACG last year, significantly higher than the
458 incidents recorded in 2015.
Next is online threat which increased by
96.22%, 106 cases in 2015 to 208 in 2014.

tormenting and commenting

CYBER BULLYING
any bullying done through
the use of technology or any
electronic means, which also
includes conduct resulting to
harassment, intimidation or
humiliation
SOCIAL BULLYING
refers to any deliberate,
repetitive and aggressive
social behaviour intended to
hurt others or to belittle
another individual or group
GENDER-BASED BULLYING
refers to any act that
humiliates or excludes a
person on the basis of
perceived or actual sexual
orientation and gender
identity (SOGI)
