Props

• Portable objects used by an


actor in the performance of a
play or movie.
• Objects needed to perform
the play.
• Divides the acts each time the setting changes locations.

Scene
• A smaller section of the play.
SCRIPT
The written text of a play or movie.
Set

• A collections of scenery,
furniture, and other objects
representing the location
where a scene takes place in a
play, film, or television
production.
• Complete stage setting for a
scene or act.
Stage
• The place in the theatre
where the actors perform.

Direction
• An instruction from the
playwright written into the
text of a play. This tells the
actors what to do on stage
• Words that tell you about the
setting place, time, or
character actions or
descriptions.
