The lathe is a machine tool that allows machining pieces of

geometric shape (cylinders, cones) These devices are responsible for

spinning the piece while the cutting tools are pushed against its
surface, cutting the remaining parts in the form of chips.
BED: It serves as support for the other units
of the lathe.
CUTTER BIT: is primarily used for cutting,
marking, grooving or roughing material.
TOOL HOLDER: A tool holder is a device
for holding the cutting tool of a machine tool.
LEAD SCREW:n mechanical engineering, a screw is called a
device that transmits movement between axes that are
perpendicular to each other.
DEAD CENTER: Fist in the tailstock spindle, remains
satationary while the work rotates on its point.
CHIP TRAY:The tray is used to collect the
chip that falls when working on a metal
piece.
CARRIAGE HAND WHEEL: It has a steering wheel that allows
movement along the bench. You also have two levers located on the
left side of the car with a series of features
TAIL STOCK: It is the element that is used to support and be
able to place the parts that are turned between points, as well
as other elements such as drill chucks or drill bits to make
holes in the center of the axes.
FACE PLATE: The main function of the clamping
plates is, as the name implies; hold the part during
machining.
QUICK CHANGE GEARBOX:It allows us
to vary the speed with which we want to
work.
