TUBA
 History:

Transmitted from generation to generation, this trade originates in the Philippines, from wh
ere it arrived in Mexico thanks to the voyages of the manila galleon.
The word “tuba” comes from the Philippines and it means
a nutritious and refreshing drink extracted from the flower spike of the coconut palm
traditional of colima.

Preparation:

Coming from the coconut palm, it is obtained by completely cutting the coco
scote just before the flowers open. The liquid drips into containers that are left for days and
 what is accumulated each morning is collected.
It is painted with beabel and added peanuts, can also carry chopped cucumber.
