HOW TO APPLY:

• Through application form


• Collect in lesson 2
SPORTS • Most appropriate job application will be selected

BOARD Jobs:

• Manage the competition by deciding on things


such as how the competition will run, team
selection and dispute resolution
• Example:
• Create code of ethics
• Ensure all parties are doing their jobs
COACH

HOW TO APPLY JOBS


• Self-elect role within team • Run warm ups
• Team must agree with decision • Run the occasional tactical
sessions
• Work closely with captain
• Can create other responsibilities
• Uniform, etc.
RECORD KEEPER
AND SELECTION
• HOW TO APPLY:
– Self-elect role within team
– Team must agree with decision
• JOBS:
– Collects scores and keeps a
premiership table
– Selects teams for doubles
– Communicates with other record
keepers to ensure the results are
consistant
CAPTAIN

HOW TO APPLY: JOBS:


• Self-elect role within team • Works closely with coach
• Team must agree with decision • On court leader
• Motivates players, encourage
them to do the righht thing
• Promotes sportsmanship within
group and proves to be a leader
for all
JOURNALIST

• HOW TO APPLY:
– Self-elect role within team
– Team must agree with decision
• JOBS:
– Writes a weekly column for newsletter that may include
such things as results, best players and gossip
– Collects information from other roles to write about
– Puts on the bulletin
– Can mention player of the game, etc.
PUBLICITY

• HOW TO APPLY:
– Through application form
• Collect in lesson 2
– Most appropriate job application will be
selected
• JOBS:
– Compile results and information from all and
put it into a newsletter, including journalist
column
– Make sure all have current information
– Notify everyone if there are any changes

• Selection must make sure the players know their partners well before the game commences
• Festivities must tell players the theme with notice
