    INTRODUCTION
     What is Law?
     A set of rules those control human action and is backed by some sanction
     Supreme Law- Constitution of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

     Why do we need law?


     To keep peace in the society
     To sustain individual rights
     To promote social justice
     To provide for orderly social change
    Parties to a lawsuit

     The person who files the suit is known as the plaintiff


     The person against whom the suit is filed is known as the defendant

     Civil and Criminal matters


     Civil suits and criminal cases

    The Law Merchant

     Lex Mercatoria
