    An interesting physics/math fact—if you shoot a cannonball at a fixed
    angle with greater & greater speed, its trajectory will approach a
    triangular shape (taking drag into account).

    There are two deceleration mechanisms for the cannonball; drag and
    gravity. As the initial cannonball speed increases, these mechanisms don't
    scale the same way, and for high speed the drag completely dominates
    gravity until the ball approaches its apex. Ergo, triangle!
