Step 1
• Create a new document (1000 x 1415 pixels)
• Download the pictures (genyo or google classroom)
• Add the 1st picture (background)
Step 2
• Add the explosion picture
• Select brush
– change to soft brush
– hardness should be 0%
– Set brush size to 125px
– Change opacity to 25%
Step 3
• Adjust the explosion to match
the background’s horizon.
• Adjust the picture’s saturation
& darkness to match the
background
• Image/adjustments/hue&
saturation
Step 4

• Select the explosion layer and


create a new layer mask
• Change the foreground color to
black
• Select the layer mask
• Start brushing with the edge
Step 5
• Add the ww2 burning plane
• Change the effects to multiply
• And repeat the process on
step 4
Step 6
• Add new layer for darkness
• Select Gradient color & change
the color to black & white
• Drag from the bottom - middle
and release
• Duplicate the darkness layer and
change the opacity to 75%
Step 7
• Add text “PLANE” & “THE” should have a
separate layer
• Blending options>bevel & emboss
– Depth 93%
– Size 5px
– Soften 0px
– Highlight mode>screen>opacity 75%
– Shadow mode>multiply>opacity 75%
Step 7 cont.
• Select drop
shadow & copy
the adjustments
Step 8
• Add the names
• First name & last name
should have a separate
layer
• Change font color to dark
colors
