I deserve years in Tartarus for I committed the perfect crime
Like a snake, I did something wrong from behind your back
Days, weeks, months, and years I was your brother, but I
wanted you to be mine
I wanted to say I love you but never did so for we may go on
our separate tracks
 Dear Brother, I was your never ceasing lover
Our moments and memories made you treat me as your
sibling from another mother
I trusted you and you trusted me; we were partners in
crime
But I’m sorry brother for I have been deceiving you all
this time
 It was six years ago when I first moved into our
neighborhood
I was young back then so I was afraid to venture into the
unknown
But you came and played games with me thus forming our
brotherhood
I was so grateful that in this series of busy homes, I have
you and I would never be alone
 It was almost every hour of our every day that we
would visit each other
Playing videogames, watching movies and animes,
building our pillow fortresses
Enjoying the sweet snacks made by both our loving
mothers
Laughing as we got scolded as we both bumped our
heads after playing rough in your mattress
The day was dark and dreary and I was trapped in the
heavy rain
Under the tree I was cold and shivering; my clothes
soaked wet and knee bleeding
I couldn’t stand after tripping down since in every step
I suffered intense pain
And my heart skipped a beat as you came and offered
your arm for me to cling
 Years passed by and we saw each other grow up
I saw numerous changes in you, but for me, your
eyes stood out
How your eyes sparkled, but not for me, but for the
athletic girl running her laps
And pain seared into my heart as I heard the words
“I love her” come from your mouth
I could still remember how big your smile was when
you finally got her yes
She gave you her love and you were her special man
I wish I could have the same but I was afraid that I
would make a mess
I cannot, especially in this world where a man should
be with a woman
 I was there when your smile turned into a frown

Being with you and trying to cheer you up on the time that
you were so down
I thought that I got the lottery as even for a moment, I
made you laugh
 I asked mom to bake you your favorite chocolate
chip cookies
We watched again our childhood favorites to make
you happy rather than weary
I laughed as you punched me for making your milk
spicy and being tricky
Oh, the crazy things I would do for you my love, the
lead of my favorite love story
But you yearned for something I couldn’t give even if
I tried hard
For a girl to love you and fill the gap inside your
heart and be in your fantasy
So, I used my love and made a girl who loved you
from afar
Even though it was me all along who wanted to be in
your reality
Years passed and the girl, I, made you so full of love
and happy
But my lies turned to truth when you finally met her
And the sky fell for me as your fantasy turned into
reality
You finally met that one girl who would finally fill
your life with genuine ecstasy
Here we are both happy and filled with love standing
in front of the altar
My eyes shone at you and yours did the same, but not
to mine
