Discovering Myself

Character Education
and Christian Living
All of us have our own strengths
and weaknesses
What is important is knowing our
strength and weaknesses so that we
can find ways to use our strengths
to overcome our weaknesses.
Here are some examples of people
who overcome their weaknesses
and turned it into success…..
God called Moses to help
lead the Israelites out of
Egypt. Moses did not want
to obey. Moses felt that he
was not a good speaker.
But with God's help,
Moses was able to face
the Pharaoh and he also
performed miracles.
Because Moses obeyed
God, God was able to use
Moses to lead the
Israelites out of their
slavery n Egypt.
Bible scholars say that
the Apostle Paul
suffered eye problems.
But the Apostle Paul
wrote 13 of the 29
books in the New
Testament. He said in I
Corinthians 12:9; "I
will boast all the more
gladly about my
weaknesses, So that
Christ's power may
rest on me.”
Ludwig Van Beethoven
was one of the best
musical composers of
all time. His
compositions remain
well-loved even up to
now. However,
Beethoven continued
to compose beautiful
music even when he
was completely deaf.
Roselle Ambubuyog is blind.
she did not let this handicap
stop her from excelling. She
graduated valedictorian in
elementary and high school. In
college, she became a BS
Mathematics student of the
Ateneo de Manila University.
This scholar graduated summa
cum laude. She declares that
"our goal is not to tremble n
darkness but to look for the
light and bring that light in
your life to overcome that
darkness.
The examples of our heroes and
heroines show that we can still
become successful even when we
have weaknesses. The key is in
knowing how to overcome those
weaknesses.
Memory Verse:

I praise you for I am fearfully and

wonderfully made. Your works are
wonderful. I know that full well.
