Ngano Nga Mamukaw Ta?

Tungod sa Kahimtang sa Simbahan sa Pilipinas o sa ato nga

Parokya o Kapelya
Pamukaw

1. Kahimtang sa Simbahan: BEC angTubag

2. Asa na ang BEC karon? Pamukawon ang parokyano
kay nakatulog na:
 Pinaagi sa pagtino sa pagtuo.
 Sugdan pinaagi sa pagpangayo sa grasya sa pasaylo, pag-
ayo ug gasa sa Spiritu Santo.
 Pag-puyo sa gasa sa bunyag pinaagi sa pag-ampo ug pag
salmot sa Eukaristiya ug sa gagmaying katilingban.
 Sustaining: Graduates integration to the Church and
participate in the next batches of “pamukaw”, rolling
“Pamukaw”
Daghang “hilaw” o walay klaro nga
mga Katoliko (nominal Catholics)

Sa ngalan lang, KBL, ug kulang

pagsabot sa atong pagtoo
Ngano Man?
Nabunyagan apan wala
masangyaw and Maayong Balita
(Sacramentalized but not
evangelized)
Kakulang sa mga pari

 1 pare :20,000 ka parokyano

Seminaryo gamay gasulod.
Ngano Man?
Wala masabti ang simbahan
Dili makadani ang bokasyon sa
pagka pare ug ang bokasyon sa
serbisyo sa laygo (Not appealing)
Pagdaghan sa mga Katoliko nga
nakabig sa laing mga tinuohan
(Born-again, Protestants, Islam
etc.)
Ngano Man?
Huyang ang pagtuo
Kulang sa batakan (basic) nga
pagtulun-an (formation).
Winning the 65% Nominal Catholics
Individual Conversion: “Kerygma” approach (John
14:6) “I am the way and the truth and the life.” PCP
II, “call to conversion and continuous conversion.”
Community Building (BEC): Belong-Believe-
Behave (John 13:6) ”By this everyone will know that
you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Communion of Communities: Sharing of 3T’s and
Networking (Acts 2:42) “They devoted themselves
We need a simple approach: Unchurched poor Catholics who are wounded, blinded,
to the apostles'
scandalized, bruised, andteaching
held captives.and
(Luke to fellowship,
4:18-19) “The Spirit ofto
the the
Lord is
upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent
breaking of bread and to prayer.”
me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the
oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”
Pope Francis
 This simple and non-threatening
approach to formation is our respond to
“Evangelii Gaudium”, the first
exhortation of Pope Francis, “In
catechesis too, we have rediscovered the
fundamental role of the first
announcement or kerygma, which needs
to be the center of all evangelizing
activity and all efforts at Church
renewal… On the lips of the catechist the
first proclamation must ring out over and
over: “Jesus Christ loves you; he gave his
life to save you; and now he is living at
your side every day to enlighten,
strengthen and free you” (#164).
Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa,
preacher of Pontifical household
and Alpha Course endorser.
 “It is the Alpha course, not the
Alpha and Omega course. Alpha
focuses on the kerygma, which is
the starting point of faith. After
people come to a living faith in
Jesus then they need to be formed
in the faith which is up to other
parish programs to do.”
Most Rev Antonio J Ledesma, SJ,DD
Archbishop, Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro
 “As a formation program, Alpha is a
fundamental and basic seminar for
adults as well as the youth in helping
them grow their faith in God and for
the first timers who wanted to know
Jesus personally, the course is very
appropriate for them. I also learned
that Alpha Course is a tool to foster
unity among Christians and I believe
we can attain this unity and hopeful
this will help the archdiocese’s
ongoing interreligious dialogue.”
Most Rev. Antonio J. Ledesma, SJ,DD. Message delivered to the participants at the closing ceremony on
“Alpha Course for Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) Basic Formation Seminar”, March 16-20 and May 4-
8, 2009, Alpha Training Center, Cagayan de Oro City.
