ATOMIC STRUCTURE
The theory of the atomic structure was discovered by a man named louis de Broglie

He was a French physicist that proposed a hypothesis to explain the theory of the atomic
structure in 1923.
And a few years later louis' hypothesis was tested by scientists shooting electrons and rays of
lights through slits. What scientists discovered was the electron stream acted the same was as
light proving de Broglie correct.

The nature of matter is determined by classifying matter based on physical properties and
chemical properties. Liquids, gases and solids come under the physical properties. Crystalline
and amorphous form are two forms of solids. Chemical properties of matter are classified based
on mixtures and pure substances.
