EVALUATION

The group is able to:


• Accomplish and set objectives of the case study through interviews and use of
assessment tools such as Gordon’s 11 Functional Health Patterns, Bates’
Pediatric assessment and thorough physical examination.

• Gathered data from the patient and studies, and were able to identify the
factors or causes that had led to insufficient breastfeeding.

• set particular goals and plans of action to solve the problems that were
present through the utilization of the Nursing Care Plan. From the health
teachings and interventions on breast engorgement, in a span of one month,
the baby’s weight increased and the mother’s breast is no longer engorged.
• educate the mother that ample breastfeeding is the most essential
and convenient treatment for breast engorgement. about her overall
well-being and ensured her to get plenty of rest, maintain a healthy
diet, and exercise as it is necessary to promote healing.
