Today you will learn to sing the standard blues scale

We’re going to start by singing up and
down a major scale in solfege
Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do
Now we are going to sing up and down a
natural minor scale on solfege
Do Re Me Fa Sol Le Te Do
Now let’s cut it down to its bare
necessities, the one chord
Do Me Sol Do
Let’s add Fa (4) and Te (b7) back in to
strengthen the tonality
Do Me Fa Sol Te Do
Lastly we will add in Fi (#4) to solidify the
blues sound
Do Me Fa Fi Sol Te Do
