DECREASING RATE METHOD

 It has been seen that all life grow within limited space. It’s
assumed that rate of percentage increase decreases and the
average decrease in the rate of growth is calculated. This
method is applicable only in such cases where the rate of
growth of population shows a downward trend.
 The average decrease in the percentage increase is worked
out, and is then subtracted from the latest percentage
increase to get the percentage increase of next decade.
