ANCHORING
• Maneuver in which the anchor and chain
are released surface for the boat to
remain immobile in a certain area.
• The anchor is prepared, removing the
rod
from the broom. The anchor and its
anchor
chain when we are in an anchoring
position alone the brake is loosened,
will stand firm on brake so to reléase
leaving anchor and chain its own weight.
the
• The equipment used for the maneuvering
of anchoring are: Anchors, Molinete and
Escobenes.
BERTHING
• Operation of locating a vessel on a site
expected of the pier. That is to say the momento
that the last end is tied to the
bit of the dock.
• To get the ship to the dock, reduce the
speed and get help from a tugboat to push
and arrive at your arrival point.
MOORING
• Action of securing the sip to
the dock or
buoys, by placing ropes.
• The purpose of this service is to collect
them to of
moorings thea ship,
elements
carry arranged on the
them and fix
docks.
• The lanyards that help the mooring
maneuver are ropes and knots basic.
DEPARTURE FROM MOORING
AND RUNNING
• Unmooring with the anchor at anchor:
Lengthen all the lines, except for the length
of the bow and the length of the inside of the
stern.
* The fundamental steps that we must
follow are the following:
1) Start the engine
2) Check that the ship and crew are ready to
sail
3) Plan the maneuver taking into account
the wind
4) Release the ropes and go out
• we drop the ropes and go ahead with the
machine opposite the dock
BEACON SYSTEM
• The maritime beaconing system is an
international standard issued to
standardize the characteristics of the
buoy that delimits navigable channels
and their adjacent waters in order to
unify critters.
• It was established to delimit navigable
channels, mark obstacles to navigation
and serve as an aid to the navigator.
TOWING

• It is the nautical operation to aid the

maneuvering of a ship, following the
instructions of its captain,
• The procedure is carried out by means of
the aid of another or other vessels, called
tugs, which provide their motive power
PILOTAGE
• Pilotage is defined as the advisory service to
captains of ships and floating artifacts, to
facilitate their entry and exit to port
and nautical maneuvers within port, and
within the limits of the pilotage area, in
safe conditions and in the terms
established in the State Ports Law.
• EQUIPMENT USED IS TOWER
LOAD
It is a set of goods or merchandise
protected by an appropriate
packaging that facilitates its rapid
mobilization. There are two
GENERAL LOAD
main types of cargo: general and bulk.
It comprises a series of products that are transported in smaller
quantities than those in bulk. Said load is composed of
individual articles whose preparation determines their type,
namely: conventional (non-unitized) and unitized loose.
BULK CARGO

liquid or solid: it is generally stored in tanks or silos and moved

through conveyor belts or ducts respectively, both types of
products are mobilized by pumping or suction, buckets, clam
buckets and other mechanical elements. These products do not
require packaging or unitization.
DOWNLOAD
It is the movement of a single class of
merchandise from a place of origin, where the
merchandise is loaded, to a destination,
where it is unloaded.
According to this definition, the movement in
the same vehicle of two different classes of
goods is considered two different transport
operations, only one being the movement
carried out by the vehicle.
Also included are the so-called “empty
operations”, that is, movements made
without goods between a place of unloading
and another of loading.
TRIM

• The trim, like the flaps, are systems that allow to

regulate the seat of the boat depending on the
conditions of the sea, the speed and the load. The
trim is especially suitable for outboard boats. A well-
regulated ship consumes less fuel, is more stable and
safer. The trim exerts an important influence on the
settlement of the hull when it sails. A well-adjusted
engine tilt allows you to reduce the engine speed
between 200 and 400 rpm while maintaining speed.
The trim is especially suitable for outboard boats.
• The trim is a seat corrector that must be
adjusted
according to the state of the sea and speed.
In small
powers, the angle of the engine in relation
to the aft
mirror is manually regulated, as for
example in the
semi-rigid ones that usually use to tend the
majority
