Rivson Commercial is located in Mercedes
Avenue, Mabini corner Amelia Street, Bacolod
City, Philippines. The business is owned and
managed by Mr. Neilbert Lamata.

It primarily operates food operations, property

leases, vegetable markets, and many more.
Banking on one of the cherished Filipino traits
which is hospitality, the company has
undeniably made the indelible mark on every
Bacolodnon.
Vision:
To be the preferred trademark and supplier of quality
vegetables and related products in Negros and the
Whole Philippines.

The project team aims to plan, create, and build a
network design for Rivson Commercial which includes
but is not limited to improving the existing network
design by installing hardware, constituting systems,
testing the new and improved network design, and if
possible, debuting the network into production.
The proposed network design adopts a model for designing
reliable, scalable and of course cost-efficient in the part of
the organization. It adopts a structure hierarchical network
design which has core, distribution, and access layers.
The project considers the following principle in
constructing the network design:

VLAN Configuration

• The management VLAN 99 is

configured in order to separate
the remote configuration from
the default user data traffic in
VLAN 1.
• The terminal PC is connected to
the VLAN 99.
Trunk Configuration

• Since the new VLAN has been

configured, a trunk port is
necessary in order to
communicate the two switches
with the Firewalls.
Port Address Translation
• Port Address Translation is
configured on the Router
connecting to the main internet
service provider to access the
internet by associating private
addresses to the assigned public
address.
Single-Area OSPF

• Single-Area OSPF is the

configured routing protocol for
communicating the two
branches: the Main Office and
the Warehouse.
