Symptoms of Stable Angina
• The painful sensation that occurs during an episode of stable angina is often
described as pressure or fullness in the center of the chest. The pain can feel like a
vice squeezing your chest or like a heavy weight resting on your chest. This pain may
spread from your chest to your neck, arms, and shoulders.
• Pain 1-15 minutes
• Shortness of breath
• Nausea
• Fatigue
• Dizziness
• Profuse sweating
• Anxiety
Symptoms of Unstable Angina
• The main symptom of angina is chest discomfort or pain. The sensation can vary
depending on the person.
• Chest pain that feels crushing, pressure-like, squeezing, or sharp pain that radiates to
your upper extremities (usually on the left side) or back
• Pain more than 20 minutes
• Nausea
• Anxiety
• Sweating
• Shortness of breath
• Dizziness
• Unexplained fatigue
Symptoms of NSTEMI
• Shortness of breath
• Pressure, tightness, or discomfort in your chest
• Pain or discomfort in your jaw, neck, back, or stomach
• Dizziness
• Lightheadedness
• Nausea
• Sweating
Symptoms of STEMI
• A STEMI has the classic symptom of pain in the center of the chest.
This chest discomfort may be described as a pressure or tightness
rather than a sharp pain. Some people who experience STEMIs also
describe feeling pain in one or both arms or their back, neck, or jaw.

• Breaking out in a cold sweat
