Today I want to talk to you about the importance of

technology
Over the years they have given great importance.

I remember when many of us had to go to an internet

cafe to do our homework, or go to a friend's house,
but all that was left behind. Although many people still
use these resources, today it is within reach of
everything from reading the newspaper, or books...
without mentioning the ease of taking our music at all
times with us, the times of using the radio are behind,
but if You can use from your cell phone is one click
away.
UB40 is an English reggae and dub pop group formed in Birmingham,
England, in 1978. Almost all of them were childhood friends since
they had gone to school together. Ali and Robin Campbell are sons of
Ian Campbell, a very famous folk singer in Scotland. The training
(whose name was taken from an official form for unemployment
benefits) originated in the city of Birmingham, where brothers Ali and
Rob resided.

Under a difficult economic situation, many sought refuge in
forming a rock band. Such was the case of UB40, eight young
people who decided to give life to the project by emphasizing
those sounds that had marked them throughout adolescence.
Many of them were in those long lines looking for work. This was
marked in his name, UB40 that comes from the code on the
application forms for those unemployment benefits. At that time
they had to produce if they wanted to get some cash from the
State.

The style of UB40 has its origin in Jamaican reggae. His

first public performance was in 1979, and from there
they began playing in pubs, clubs and other venues
throughout England. They recorded a model that was
broadcast by a radio station and were the opening act
for the group 'The Pretenders' on their first tour of
England. His first single came out in 1980, during that
tour, and reached number 4 on the national charts.
Then they released their first album, 'Signing Off'.
By 1979, UB40 took its first steps and at the beginning of the
new decade it was already a success. His music was a perfect
mix between ska, reggae and pop. Then came the successes
that led the group to play in different parts of the world. "Red,
Red Wine", "Can't Help Falling in Love", "Rat in Mi Kitchen",
among other songs, caught the attention and led the group to
the top of the rankings.
They have had important moments, for example, being one of
the first bands to play in South Africa after the lifting of the
cultural boycott. The system basically consisted of the division
of the different racial groups to promote "development."
