 What is Solar Chimney ?
The Solar Chimney updraft tower (SCUT) is a design concept for a renewable-
energy power plant for generating electricity from low temperature solar heat. It is also
named as Solar Aero-Electric Power Plant (SAEP). Use SCPP during the 1980s by J.
Schlaich and colleagues[1,2].
