paramo de  santurban, Santander. Colombia.

Located between the departments of Santander and Norte de Santander is a natural wealth of
Colombia.
He left from the city of Bucaramanga at four in the morning. The car tour lasted approximately three
hours until we reached Matanzas, a place where they talked about the history of corn and stone mills,
additionally there I had breakfast in a place called Broken Sky.
Continue to Surata and California towns that lived on large-scale gold mining.
finally around noon I reached veins, a town surrounded by mountains with peaks covered in mist and
where I felt the cold to the maximum.
Have lunch in a homey restaurant and very good season.
Then I went to the green lagoon along a path that bordered the green and white mountains that hid a
great canyon at their roots.
I arrived around three in the afternoon at the beginning of the path that led to the green lagoon.
I was in too much of a hurry since it is forbidden to enter after this hour due to the risks of weather
changes and the descent of the mist.
walking this trail was amazing, I started a walk of approximately an hour and a half surrounded by
small mountains covered with mosses and vegetation from Paramun. the water soaked our feet, it
was too cold.
and finally I reached the immensity of some rocks that warned that on the other side were the
crystalline waters.
it was an immense lagoon and as its name says with a green hue, I saw some fish create slingshots in
the water and ducks take flight. Around and not so far away were some frailejones, those guardians
and creators of life were not so far away, so I walked towards them. It was a great joy to have a
guard like this in front of you.
 Due to the weather conditions and with fear of being lost, I returned to be in the safety of the car
and start my way to a hotel.
without a doubt some of it was one of my best experience in a paramo, I first met fauna and flora of
Paraná, I felt the cold breeze, the peace, the tranquility. I felt surrounded by life.
