TALKING ABOUT COWORKERS

MICHAEL : So Eric, what’s your new coworker like?

ERIC : Well, if you have all day, I’ll describe him for you. He’s quite the character
MICHAEL : I don’t have all day, dude – but basically – do you get along with him?
ERIC : Actually yeah, but that’s only because we hardly ever see each other. He works in a
another department. Administrative stuff, I think. He starts working at 8, I greet him and we
talk a Little. But I have heard he is really Good at his job.
MICHAEL : Really? You don’t have lunch together, then?
ERIC : The truth is, I don’t even know when he eats, or where.
MICHAEL : So why do you say he’s quite the character?
ERIC : Because I have heard and I have seen that he works a lot, more than me. Plus, many
of his department are scared because he can take their jobs. I mean He’s new here, but he
actually does all the job our boss ask him to do.
MICHAEL : And is it Good or bad for you?
ERIC : It’s pretty Good, I don’t have to worry about it, he is in another department.
MICHAEL : He sounds a lot like you. You work really hard too. No wonder he catches your
attention
