RESOLVING ETHICAL ISSUE

ETHICS:
• It all starts with morals, which are rules to guide our behavior.
• Ethics are moral framework that is applied to a narrow group of
people such as doctors, maybe a particular religion, or even
psychologist.
RESOLVING ETHICAL ISSUE
• This stander of APA ethics code provides information about what
psychologists should do to resolve ethical situations they may
encounter in their work.

• This include advice for what researchers should do when their work is
misrepresented and when to report ethical violations.

MISS USE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL WORK
• If psychologist learn of miss use or misrepresentation of their work
they take responsible steps to correct or menimize the misuse or
misrepresentation.
CONFECTS BETWEEN ETHICS AND LAW
REGULATIONS, OR OTHERS GOVERNING
LEGAL AUTHORITY.
• Psychologist ethical responsibility to resolve or clarify the nature of
the conflicts.

• Psychologist work for organizational demand if conflict arise
psychologist take reasonable steps to resolve the conflects.
INFORMAL RESOLUTION OF ETHICAL
VIOLATIONS
• When psychologist believe that there may be have been an ethical
violation by another psychologist, they attempt to resolve the issue
by bringing it to the attention of that individual.
