About the project
• Ms. Michelle’s Drawing
and Ms. Hae’s Ceramics
class will work together.
• This project will be done
through asynchronous
collaboration between two
classes and synchronous
collaboration in each class.
Online Collaboration
• Teachers and students will use a website called SamePage. This is a collaboration
online-based software that makes team communication and online project
management.

• The website can be accessed with many different devices -

• Students without email addresses or would like not to use

their email addresses can notify their teachers.
Learning objectives
• Students will participate in online communication. (example: Ms. Michelle’s
D&P students will communicate with Ms. Hae’s ceramics students)
• Students will learn how to take photos, record a video, transfer to
computers/laptops, and upload.mov or .jpg files to the website.
• Students will learn the concept of distance education, mixed media,
collaborative art work, and community art.
• Students will learn about the ownership of work.
• Students will learn about digital citizenship.
What we expect…
• Students participate not only in artmaking but also in collaborative working
community online.
• Students will record a video of themselves, chat with their online partner(s), and
upload work progress to SamePage.
• Students won’t spend more than 40 minutes on computer device per week.
• Students will be a helpful, kind, and cooperative digital
citizens.
• We advise that parents set parental control either on their
computer or internet browser in case students might want to
communicate with their partners at home.

• Link to videos
• Choose at least 2 grade appropriate video and answer to
listed questions
• Submit answers to Ms. Michelle or Ms. Hae
