Family Separation

● In 2018, separations were up to 70 per day


● One border control center in Texas had 1,147 children
separated at their location alone
● It is not illegal to seek asylum at a port of entry, so
families should not be separated if they are trying to do
the right thing

● Participate in protest and rallies


● Elect leaders who will make a change
● Donate to organizations that help
● Be vocal on social media
● Educate yourself and others
How Will This Help

Rallies happen all of the time. It is common in our country to hold rallies and
peaceful protests when things aren’t going the way we think it needs to go. I think
these can be so beneficial to convincing our leaders to take action and make the
right decisions, especially when it comes to immigration and family separation.

There have already been rallies for ending family separation and there has already
been some laws changed to prevent it from happening more. However, there is still
more to be done. So, I would love to find a rally someday that is against the
separation of families so I can be apart of it and get my voice heard!
