Psalms Chapter 2 verse 1 to 12

外邦为什么争闹？万民为什么谋算
虚妄的事？

1
Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2
世上的君王一齐起来，臣宰一同商议，
要敌挡耶和华并他的受膏者，

The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his
anointed, saying,
3
说：“我们要挣开他们的捆绑，
脱去他们的绳索。”

“Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4
那坐在天上的必发笑；主必嗤笑他们。

The One enthroned in heaven
laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5
那时，他要在怒中责备他们，
在烈怒中惊吓他们，

He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath,
saying,
6
说：“我已经立我的君在锡安
我的圣山上了。”

“I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7
受膏者说，我要传圣旨：耶和华曾对
我说：“你是我的儿子，我今日生你。

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me,
“You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8
你求我，我就将列国赐你为基业，
将地极赐你为田产。

Ask me, and I will make the
nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your
possession.
9
你必用铁杖打破他们，你必将他们
如同窑匠的瓦器摔碎。”

You will break them with a rod of
iron; you will dash them to pieces
like pottery.”
10
现在，你们君王应当省悟；
你们世上的审判官该受管教！

Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the
earth.
11
当存畏惧事奉耶和华，
又当存战兢而快乐。

Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with
trembling.
 当以嘴亲子，恐怕他发怒，
12

你们便在道中灭亡，因为他的怒气快要
发作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。
12
Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your
destruction, for his wrath can
flare up in a moment.

Blessed are all who take refuge

in him.
