Traditional Method.

The traditional approach is a learning

approach in which the teacher in the classroom
uses a relatively fixed method each time they
teach. In the teacher's approach, the teacher
only delivers learning material in the classroom
with a monotonous and relatively the same
approach each time teaching.
Grammar – Translation Method (GTM)

The principle of this method is the translation

of grammar, word memorization and the
formula for the interpretation of the original
language. Learning in the classroom uses the
mother tongue (Indonesian), reading material
related to grammar is very important.
Direct Method.
According to Richard and Rodgers (1986), there
are some principles about the direct methods:
Classroom intrsuction was conducted in the target
language, Only everyday vocabulary and sentence
were taught, Oral communication skills, Grammar
was fough inductively, Both speech and listening
comprehension were taught, Correct pronounciation
and grammar were emphasized.
The principle of this method is that students
communicate spontaneously and verbally.
