Billy & Little Voice page 49-51 Setting

The scene takes place in the alleyway in

front of Mari & LV’s apartment.
Because it’s a working class area, the
alleys would be thin and not well kempt
or pretty like main streets.
I imagine there would be a decent amount
of littler around and graffiti as this is
stereotypical of back alleys in cities.

The small windows that are visible in some of

these pictures is also representative of the one
LV talks to Billy out of.

The scene takes place at night after her first
Most of LV’s clothes would be performance so her clothes would be comfortable and
ill fitting clothes mainly
because they were cheap from
baggy to sleep in Little Voice
charity shops, or hand me
downs from other people on She also wears muddy
the street. white trainers

LV would also wear her late dad’s clothing (shirts and

jeans) which would be baggy on her.

Most of her clothing would also be dirty and creased as they

don’t get washed and ironed much.

Billy In this scene, because its dark and

cold outside, this is the style of
coat Billy would wear over his
work uniform.

I imagine he probably worked long

hours and late nights to be able to
afford a nice, fashionable coat.

Above are the style of overalls Billy would wear

for his electrician apprenticeship job.
He spends most of his time working and therefore would be in this uniform, so it
would probably have a few stains on it
Under this he wears just a plain white shirt and some worn, dirty trainers
