Bangers and mash
INTRODUCTION
A little of history
Bangers is a type of sausages, in the Second War World there was shortage of
meat, and the sausages was down quality , the sausages had much water, so
to cooking to strong fire them exploded. Even if the bangers are original
dish from United Kingdom, in these days British and Australian serve
bangers in their traditional pubs and hotel. The Romans are believied to
have the sausage brought the sausage to the UK around 400 BC. These
sausages with mashed potatoes are serve with gravy (juice of meet) and
onions. Are ready on 25 minutes!
DEVELOPING:
Ingredients
Bangers
8 sausages
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
3 spoon of flour
2 cup beef broth
Oil
Salt and pepper
Mash
6 potatoes
1 little of milk
1 spoon of butter
Salt
DEVELOPING:
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and cut in quarters. Put in a pot to boil.
While that, heat the oil in a pan and cook the sausages until are browned. Take out the sausages and save.
Sauté the onion and garlic. When them are browned add the flour, mix and letter add the meet broth.
Cook until the ingredients are thick and put salt and pepper.
Take out the potatoes, strain and crush them, add the butter, a little of milk and salt. Mix all together.
Serve the mash, put the sausage on the mash and topping with sauce.
Other option:
The sausage are also vegetarian versions. Not only can you find them in the supermarket, in some pubs they serve
vegetarian or vegan bangers and mash.
