Beliefs ‫عقیدے‬
Who are righteous people?

 Believe in Allah (SWT) [Al-e-Imran: 114]


 Believes in His Angels, His Books, and His
Messengers [Al-Baqrah: 286]
 Believe in the Last Day [Al-e-Imran: 114]
 Believe in what has come to us of the
truth? [Al-Maidah: 84]
1-'Ali narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SWT) said: 'A
slave (of Allah (SWT)) shall not believe until he believes in
four:
1. The testimony of la ilaha illallah (SWT), and that I am
the messenger of Allah (SWT) whom he sent with the
truth,
2. And he believes in the death,
3. And he believes in the resurrection after death, and
4. He believes in al-qadar." [Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book
6, Hadith 2145]
It is reported on the authority of Anas that
the Messenger of Allah (SWT) (‫)ﷺ‬
said: No bondsman believes, and, in the
hadith narrated by Abdul Warith, no person
believes, till I am dearer to him than
the members of his household, his
wealth and the whole of mankind.
[Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 70]
What are them
Actions‫اـعماـل‬
 Establish prayer [At-Tawbah: 18]
 Give zakah [At-Tawbah: 18]
 Perform Hajj because it is duty
to mankind [Aal-e-Imran: 97]
 Observe fasting [Al-Baqrah: 183]
 Do not fear except Allah (SWT) [At-
Tawbah: 18]
 Do not make excuses for not striving in
the path of Allah (SWT) would not ask
permission of you to be excused from
striving [i.e., fighting] [At-Tawbah: 44]
Supporters of mosques.
Mosques of Allah (SWT) are only to
be maintained (Those who are
supporting the mosques, they
believe in Allah (SWT)) [At-Tawbah:
18]
 Enjoin what is right and forbid what
is wrong [Al-e-Imran: 114]
 Hasten to good deeds.[Al-e-Imran:
114]
 Purify themselves [At-Tawbah: 108]
 Turn to Allah (SWT) with [accepted]
repentance. [ Al-Furqan: 71]
1. Trust on Allah (SWT)
2. Repent to Allah (SWT)
3. Remembering Allah (SWT)
4. Truthful to please Allah (SWT)
5. Seek forgiveness of Allah (SWT)
6. Patience for the sake of Allah (SWT)
7. Emigrant for the cause of Allah (SWT)
Truthfulness leads to
righteousness [Jami` at-
Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Book 1,
Hadith 1971]
What is them
Rewards ‫اـجر‬
In this world
 Those will have … noble provision.
[Saba: 4]
 Amend their condition. [Surah
Muhammad: 2]
 Grant them succession [to authority]
upon the earth [An-Nur: 55]
In this world

 Substitute for them, after their fear,


security [An-Nur: 55]
 Lord will guide them (Towards Akhirah)
[Yunus: 9]
 No fear concerning, no grieve [Al-
Baqarah: 277]
In the Hereafter

 Allah (SWT) will replace their evil


deeds with good [Al-Furqan:70]
 We will surely remove from them
their misdeeds [ Al-Ankabut: 7]
 Admit them among the righteous [Al-
Ankabut: 9]
In the Hereafter

 Will have forgiveness [Hudh: 11]


 Admit them into His mercy
[Al-Jathiyah: 30]
 Companions of Paradise [Al-
Baqarah: 82]
The record of the
righteous is in ‘illiyyun.
[Al-Mutaffifeen: 18]
Easy way to get
He who called (people) to
righteousness, there would be
reward (assured) for him like
the rewards of those who
adhered to it [Sahih Muslim,
Book 34, Hadith 6470]
