• LLC resonant converters are widely used because of
high efficiency. • In LLC converters the primary switches are turn on at ZVS mode but they are turn off at high current. • In this converter the variation in input voltage and load will effect the operating frequency, it will become more than resonant frequency that cause to loss the ZCS operation of the switches in secondary side. • In CLCL resonant converters the primary side switches turn on in ZVS and turn off in Quasi resonant mode at full load operating conditions. • The secondary side diodes are turn off in ZCS mode both at full load and dimming control and that reduces the losses. • Yijie Wang and others proposed a novel two stage CLCL resonant converter. • The front end stage is Boost PFC and power control stage is Half bridge CLCL resonant converter. • It operates in 10 modes of operations. • Keeping the impedance angle a littlie bit higher than zero proposed topology ensures ZVS turn on and Quasi resonant Turn off of primary switches.
