Jona is in grade 3.

Her
classmates knew that she is a
very shy girl. She’s so quiet, too.
The moment she enters the
school, you can’t hear anything
from her. She eats alone. She
plays with no one.
Mr. Loro, her teacher learned that she can’t
speak English language well. Upon knowing
Jona’s situation, Mr.Loro became even more
determined to help her. He wants Jona to have
confidence, most especially when it comes to
expressing her thoughts using the English
language. So, Mr. Loro encourages Jona’s
classmates to make the first move in making a
conversation with her. She also gives Jona
activities that allow her to talk. Jona is very
responsive. She talks to her classmates and does
her teacher’s given activities. She can now talk to
someone confidently.
The class of Mr. Loro is so happy seeing Jona improving so
well. They have seen the good result of their unity to help.
