Let’s talk
about our
open scenes!
Let’s warm up!
• Two-Line Vocabulary is an activity played
with three people.
• One of you will have free reign over (almost)
every word you know!
Two-Line • Two of you will only be allowed to
communicate using two predetermined lines
Vocabulary of dialogue.
• You will then be given a scene suggestion
from the audience, and then you will improv
a scene!
• Film Noir is another improvisational activity
played with at least two people. You will be
acting like you’re in an old black and white
crime drama.
• During the scene, each player will be
allowed 2-3 moments to step forward and
Film Noir monologue about the situation or something
that will affect it. During this time the other
players will freeze in the background.
• Once each character has used all their
monologue moments, the players must find
a way to wrap up the scene.
