PURPOSE OF THE SUBJECT
 A mandatory subject for the first year Bachelor of
Laws student.
 Introduces the Law student to the law, the study of
law and to the profession.
 This subject is the first half of a subject that will be
completed in the second semester in the ‘Legal
Methods’ subject.
 Introducing Law is a broad study to give students
knowledge and understanding of the principles upon
which the Ugandan legal system is based.
