Elements of a Web Page
• Page Header- This is a mini version of the home page at
the top of each page. Header is the most visible
component for page identity. This is where you can find
logo of the web page and a list of links.
Elements of a Web Page
• Page Footers- This sections keeps the the organization
and legal matters of the page. Page author, copyright
statement, contact details, links to relates sites, and other
navigation links are some of the information that can be
found in the page footer.

• Search - Generally, it can be found at the upper right are
of the header. It allows the viewer to the quizk search of
the website for other related information.

• Scan Columns- Scan columns can be
found at the left part of the web
page to arrange navigation links.
Scan columns are also useful as
locations for web search boxes,
mailing address and contact
information, and other minor page
elements.

• Content Area - This is where the
main content of the web page is
located. Content can be in a
number of different forms such as
text, pictures, videos, and flash
movies. Sound can also be
embedded in a web a page suchas
background music and provides
information about a certain topic.
