 What is simple present tense?

Simple Present Tense is the tense used to express an

action or activity taking place or happening at the
present time in a simple form, or activities
performed repeatedly, or daily habits, or acts that
have nothing to do with time.
 The function of simple present
tense:

To state daily activities

To state common events
To declare orders to the other person
To state the event will come
To state show ability
Type and formula of sentence simple present tense :

Simple present tense affirmative

S+Verb(1)/verb dasar/to be +O

Simple present tense negative

S + Don’t/Doesn’t + Verb(1) + O

Simple present tense interrogative

Do +/Does + S + Verb(1) + O
Example of Sentence :
1. I run every morning for maintain my body
health

2. Sarah eats her medicine pills because of her

illnes

3. My father does a health checkup once a

month

4. The nurse injected me every afternoon
