Enhancing your literature review

1. Go online and search all journal articles on your topic area.

Don’t read all of them thoroughly. Just file them up.

2. Prioritize and get hold of review articles on your topic.

3. Expand your search – look for related articles online.

4. Go through the articles and look for those that are most
relevant to your chosen topic. Then go to their ‘References’ and
then follow the referencing trail.
5. On the basis of the ‘References,’ do individual paper or author
search.

6. Do personal requests to authors if their articles are not available

– or if these are for sale.

7. Keep searching until you reach literature saturation.
