‫ان‬ ‫َو‬
• And there was a very big house in the town.
 َ ‫ أَصْ َنا ٌم َك ِث‬,‫ت أَصْ َنا ٌم‬
• ‫يرةٌ ِج ًّدا‬ ِ ‫ان ِفي َه َذا ْال َب ْي‬
َ ‫َو َك‬
• And in this house there were many idols.
• ‫اأْل صْ َن ِام‬ ‫لِ َه ِذ ِه‬ َ ‫َيسْ ُج ُد‬
‫ون‬ ُ‫ال َّناس‬ َ ‫َك‬
‫ان‬ ‫َو‬
• And people used to prostrate to these idols
• ‫اأْل صْ َن ِام‬ ‫لِ َه ِذ ِه‬ ‫َيسْ ُج ُد‬ َ
‫آز ُر‬ َ ‫َك‬
‫ان‬ ‫َو‬
• And Azar used to prostrate to these idols
• ‫اأْل صْ َنا َم‬ ‫َه ِذ ِه‬ ‫َيعْ ُب ُد‬ َ
‫آز ُر‬ َ ‫َك‬
‫ان‬ ‫َو‬
• And azar used to worship these idols
•‫َر ِشي ٌد ج ًّدا‬ ,‫آز ُر َل ُه َو َل ٌد َر ِشي ٌد‬

• And Azar had a very clever boy
•‫إب َْرا ِهي َم‬ ‫َه َذا ْال َو َل ِد‬ ‫اسْ ُم‬ َ ‫َو َك‬

• And the name of this boy was Ibraheem
•‫ون لِأْل صْ َن ِام‬ َ ‫ان إب َْرا ِهي ُم َي َرى ال َّن‬
َ ‫اس َيسْ ُج ُد‬ َ ‫َو َك‬
• And Ibraheem used to see people prostrating to idols
ْ ‫اأْل‬
•‫ص َنام‬ َ ‫َي ْع ُب ُد‬
‫ون‬ َ ‫ال َّن‬
‫اس‬ ‫َي َرى‬ ‫َو‬
• And he used to see people worshipping the idols.
• ‫َن ْف ِس ِه‬ ‫ِفي‬ ‫َيقُو ُل‬ ‫ان إب َْرا ِهي ُم‬ َ ‫و َك‬:َ
• And Ibraheem used to say to himself
• ‫لِأْل صْ َن ِام؟‬ ُ‫ال َّناس‬ ‫َيسْ ُج ُد‬ ‫لِ َم َاذا‬
• Why people prostrate for idols?
• ‫َن ْف َس ُه‬ ‫َيسْ أ ُل‬ ‫إب َْرا ِهي ُم‬ َ ‫و َك‬:َ
‫ان‬
• And Ibraheem used to ask himself
• ‫اأْل صْ َنا َم؟‬ ُ‫ال َّناس‬ ‫َيسْ أ ُل‬ ‫لِ َما َذا‬
