 White Night’s Festival
Is a cultural event organized by the Saint Petersburg city administration. The
festival take place in the summer and you can have a lovely, romantic and
friendly atmosphere.
The White Nights Festival is an international art and musical festival in
Russia. It is celebrate during the season of the midnight sun where the
Northern Lights shines at dusk and dawn. It was celebrate for first time in
1992, in the same year the festival was registered with an international
organization called International Federation of Festival Organizations
(FIDOF). In 2001, the recognition as a cultural event. The purpose of this
amazing festival is to enhance cultural exchanges between Russia and the
whole word.
On the other hand, White Night has a certain time to visit and be part of the
festival but you have the opportunity to admire the incredible talents . Each
year this festival shows new mixes of works and that is one of the reasons
which cause a sensational effect. However, the most surprising work is when
the festival opens and offers people who visit museums and galleries which
are the most prestigious in Saint Petersburg city.
 Activities
Carnival Celebrations
The White Nights Festival also offer carnivals. This one is based on
reenactments of historic events from the times of Catherine the Great. The
streets are filled with a party atmosphere and some people dressed up in
costumes based in that times.
Starts of the White Nights
Some of the talents that the festival shows to the population are ballet, opera,
classical music and art which have been highlighted over time and in turn
these have been attracting the attention of the public which causes a strong
interest and people feel the need to interact and exchange ideas with others.

Scarlett Sails
Is the most popular event. You can saw a lot of extraordinary fireworks, a
concert and a fabulous water show while a boat with red sails pass through.
