How do pandemic affect your academic
life?
During the Covid-19 pandemic, lectures and all educational activities must be done online, namely by
zooming meetings or similar applications. The impact of studying or studying online is that we cannot
study face-to-face with lecturers and cannot meet friends , and it makes us unable to understand well the
material presented because when learning through zoom metting or similar applications, networks and
signals are the main obstacles.
Moreover, we are studying in the nursing department, where in lectures there must be laboratory skills and
these skills we must practice directly but with this pandemic we cannot practice directly, it makes us less
able to understand skill material and not gain experience in the field or work place, namely hospitals or
clinics. There are many detrimental effects for students, especially nursing students with online lecture
regulations like this , because the student ma'am You need not only the material presented by the lecturers
but also skills in the field and experiences that will add to students' insights that will not be obtained when
studying online.
We hope that the Covid-19 pandemic will end soon so that we can study face-to-face, meet with lecturers
and classmates, so let's comply with government regulations with 3M, wear masks, keep our distance and
wash our hands, so that the Covid virus does not spread widespread and the pandemic is over soon.
