Comparing Numbers
• Step 1: Look at the tenths place if the digits
are same move to.
• Step 2: Compare the hundredths place if the
digits are same move to step 3. If different
than the number with the bigger digit is
greater
• Step 3: Compare the thousands place if the
digits are same it means the no is identical,
if not the number with the bigger digit is the
greater number.
