Terminology

• Diarrhea : defecation with mushy/liquid consistency, frequency more often, usually > 3x a day.
• Somnolen : condition when someone in circumstances sleepy and tend fell asleep however still can
awakened with stimulation and give answer in a manner verbal and usually followed with severe general
condition
• Vomit : condition when contents stomach Exit in a manner forced through mouth accompanied contraction
on stomach and muscle stomach
• Nasogastric tube: tool form hose plastic which installed from nose to stomach to give nutrition and drug on
patient that not able consuming food, fluid, or drugs
• Turgor skin : level flexibility or elasticity on skin
• Hypertympanic : sound which generated as the result of existence excessive air in region abdomen, usually
the result of bloating
• Rehydration : return of water or liquid content to the patient's body or substances that are already
dehydrated
