Meningitis is a bacterial or viral infection of
the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal
cord and causes swelling. In simple words, it is
an inflammation of the meanings. Meanings
are the three membranes that wrap the brain
and spinal cord. The common causes of
Meningitis are Bacterial and Viral infections.
Others include Cancer, drug allergies,
chemical irritation etc. Viral and Bacterial
Meningitis are contagious in nature and can be
transmitted through coughing or sneezing.
There are 3 types of Meningitis Viral, Bacterial
and Fungal. Viral Meningitis is the most
common one and Bacterial Meningitis is
considered to be the most dangerous.

Viral Meningitis
It is the most common type of

it cannot transmit from person to person.
