Teacher Instructions

Write a grammar question or vocabulary topic at the top of the slide. An example
might be ‘What’s the plural?’ or ‘objects in the home’.

Choose a version that’s good for your class, depending on how old they are or
how advanced their English is. Under each money box, write a different word (or
paste in a picture) that the rule or topic could be applied to. (Easier words should
be worth less money, while the most difficult are worth the
most.) You could even target your students’ most common
mistakes.

Select your players or put your class into teams. When a player chooses a box,
click to reveal the word or picture underneath. If they can tell you the answer,
they get the money that was in the box. The winner is the student or team with
the most money at the end.
Player Instructions
Your teacher has hidden questions behind boxes of money.

You’ll be put into teams if there are more than four of you in the
class.

Choose a box and see if you can answer the question. The more
money in the box, the more difficult the question.

If you can answer the question correctly, you get the money in the
box (make sure you keep the total in mind).

The team or student with the most money at the end

wins the game!
