What is dragon speech recognition?

Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a speech recognition software package

developed by Dragon Systems. It runs on Windows personal computers.
Dragon gives students an easier way to control a computer that is less
physical and cognitive. Simply speak and the words appear on the
computer screen transcribing up to 160 words a minute. Or you can use
simple voice commands to conduct research.
 How is it used in the classroom?

Dragon helps students that struggle with

writing due to disabilities. It lets students
express themselves simply by talking.
Things like aspergers, dyslexia, and
physical disabilities are no longer in the
way. Dragon is great for special education
students so they can just speak and not
have to worry about typing.
