General and Definition
• Parking area is a location that is designated for parking that can
be in a parking garage, in a parking lot or on a city street.
Spaces
In city, we consider:
• Based on population: 0.5 to 1% of population
• Based on the number of cars: One parking for all 5-8 cars

• Based on the traffic of visitors: space must be reserved for 7% to


9% of the visitors.
• Space required: 20-25m2 / car (including of way for rolling)
